Cambie Real Estate Update (November 2014)

Detached home sales were down for November 2014 as there were 6 sales compared to 15 sales for the same month last year.  The highest priced home to sell in November was for $2,710,000 and the lowest priced home to sell was for $1,600,000.  Three homes sold over their asking price while the rest of the sales were all below their asking price.  All 6 sales were above their 2014 tax assessment values.

 

Currently there are 32 homes for sale and this is down from last month where there were 41 homes for sale.  The lowest priced home for sale is listed at $1,698,000 (153 W 19th Ave) and the highest priced home for sale is listed at $4,300,000 (5208 Cambie St).  During November, two listings expired as they were unable to sell and there were no price reductions for any of the active listings.
