Cambie Real Estate Update (May 2015)

Detached home sales were down for May 2015 as there were 13 sales compared to 18 sales for the same month last year. The highest priced home to sell in May was for $3,068,000 and the lowest priced home to sell was for $1,475,000. Six homes sold over their asking price while the rest of the sales were all below their asking price. All 13 sales were above their 2015 tax assessment values.


Currently there are 47 homes for sale and this is down from last month where there were 48 homes for sale. The lowest priced home for sale is listed at $1,679,000 (46 W 21st Ave) and the highest priced home for sale is listed at $5,988,000 (196 W 27th Ave). During May, there was one home which reduced its price and there were three listings that expired.
