Cambie Real Estate Update (May 2014)

Detached home sales were down for May 2014 as there were 14 sales compared to 15 sales for the same month last year.  The highest priced home to sell in May was for $3,020,000 and the lowest priced home to sell was for $1,242,000.  Five homes sold over their asking price and the rest of the sales were all below their asking price.  All 14 sales were above their 2014 tax assessment values.

 

Currently there are 50 homes for sale and this is down from last month where there were 57 homes for sale.  The lowest priced home for sale is listed at $1,499,000 and the highest priced home for sale is listed at $4,188,000.  At the end of May, there were 4 home listings that expired as they were unable to sell and there were 3 homes which lowered their asking price.
