Cambie Real Estate Update (March 2016)

Detached home sales (8) were down for March 2016 when compared to the same month last year (10).  The highest priced home to sell in March was for $6,298,000 and the lowest priced home to sell was for $2,000,000.  Five homes sold above their asking price and the rest of the sales were all below their asking price.  Also all 8 sales were above their 2015 tax assessment values. In terms of price reductions, there was only 1 during the month.


Currently there are 29 detached homes for sale and this is down from last month where there were 31 homes for sale.  The lowest priced home for sale is listed at $2,198,000 (5618 Columbia Street) and the highest priced home for sale is listed at $6,398,000 (5348 Manson Street).  The average listing price in the Cambie area is currently $3,094,875.
