Cambie Real Estate Update (January 2016)

Detached home sales (5) were down for January 2016 when compared to the same month last year (11).  The highest priced home to sell in January was for $2,890,000 and the lowest priced home to sell was for $2,269,000.  Three homes sold above their asking price and the remaining two sold below their asking price.  Also all 5 sales were above their 2015 tax assessment values. There were also not any price reductions during the month, but there were 10 listings that expired.

 

Currently there are 33 detached homes for sale and this is up from last month where there were 17 homes for sale.  The lowest priced home for sale is listed at $1,888,000 (5618 Columbia Street) and the highest priced home for sale is listed at $6,398,000 (5348 Manson Street).  The average listing price in the Cambie area is currently $2,434,200.  For all current listing information, please visit cambie-homes.com.
