Cambie Real Estate Update (January 2014)

Detached home sales were up for January 2014 as there were 9 sales compared to 6 sales for the same month last year. The highest priced home to sell in January was for $2,415,000 (633 W King Edward Ave - 47’ X 130’ lot size) and the lowest priced home to sell was for $1,500,000 (638 W 22nd Ave – 33’ X 122’ lot size). Only 1 of the 9 sales was below their 2013 tax assessment values. 

 

Currently there are 44 homes for sale and this is up from last month where there were 35 homes for sale. The lowest priced home for sale is $948,000 (57 W 41st Ave - 33’ X 112’ lot size) and the highest priced home for sale is $5,000,000 (506 W 27th Ave – 67.5’ X 150’ lot size). At the end of January, there were two listings that expired as they were unable to sell.
