Cambie Real Estate Update (February 2015)

Detached home sales were down for February 2015 as there were 11 sales compared to 15 sales for the same month last year.  The highest priced home to sell in February was for $2,650,000 and the lowest priced home to sell was for $1,930,000.  Six homes sold over their asking price and one home sold at its asking price while the rest of the sales were all below their asking price.  All 11 sales were above their 2014 tax assessment values.

 

Currently there are 36 homes for sale and this is up from last month where there were 35 homes for sale.  The lowest priced home for sale is listed at $1,598,000 (850 W 18th Ave) and the highest priced home for sale is listed at $5,188,000 (211 W 26th Ave).  During February, there was only one home which reduced its price and there were no listings that expired.
